Sher A Tria says:
One month of being unemployed, is it that bad? Or are we just pressuring ourselves of being unemployed individuals with nothing to do but bum around and consume all our energy and time doing nothing, and not to mention, consume the stock of food that our parents bought. Now, we become tenants in the place we once called our home. Scrap that! This time, we should all be happy that we are free to do anything under the sun! it is our time to do the things that we are deprived to do during the time we’re in school! One month is not that bad of course! We could all be unemployed as long as we want to. This is our life. However, subconsciously, we feel pressured because we tend to compare ourselves with the people who got jobs already. But are they having fun?? nyahahahaha!
But it all boils down to this little fact, we have no money. Bow.
Ana Cey G says:
Heartache, Stomachache… the list goes on. I wonder…, why there’s no ”ache” created for the unemployed. Never did I realize that I would be a victim of these bothersome stomach butterflies whenever the topic, job-hunting, becomes the thing in random conversations. Nowadays, emails, cellphones are checked from time to time. Random thoughts cross your mind when you’re about to sleep. The future becomes more blurry, and your intuition is just a stupid fortune teller. Now the thing here is that people should not be weary. When you become a husband or a wife, when babies start to appear, when bills upon bills come to your doorstep… well you will surely miss this phase in your life when you can just:
1. type away in tumblr
2. tweet and tweet until daylight
3. friends expose, stalk, comment in fb
4. read books that you’ve been eyeing for so long
5. watch TV series you either hate or love
6. download music like there’s no limit in your hardrive
7. sleep like there’s no other thing to do for the day
8. And eat cause you are still young and cholesterol is not a problem.
So chin up. Don’t worry. Thousands, even millions feel that way. Make a difference and be one of the few who will not hate this stage, but would rather make the most out of it. Happy unemployment!:)
